Yeah one of the goals finished

Yes, I didn't have the trust this morning that I would be finished before the new year with this part of MTM, but I did. The butterflies were a bit hard, but when I got the swing of them they went very fast. Now just wait one day for the next part. It is becoming bigger and bigger and beautifuller and beautifuller.

Why is life so busy!!

I would like to just have a whole day to stitch, stitch, quilt and quilt, but I have to do always other things also when I have an day off. I wanted to finish a quilt these last two days of 2006, but don;t see that happen as I just can't find the time to do so. Also I want to finish part 3 of Medieval Town Mandala, but still 4 1/2 butterflies to stitch and as they are over one they are hard to stitch. So looks like no finishes for me anymore this year.

I finished something!!

Tuesday evening late I finished the next block of Nature's Home afghan. You can also find a pic of the afghan so far.

I just love stitching on this beautifull afghan and I want to have it finished in 2006. I have done some planning and it can be finished in december when I stitch one block a month or sooner when I can't stop stitching on it. I still have a lot of blocks to do, but aso a lot of small ones.

This afternoon I have off from work and tomorrow too and I will be stitching like a crazy woman on Medieval Town Mandala. The third part is really beautifull again and it is possible to have it finished before the year ends.

Luckily christmas is over

I had a great christmasdiner, but as it was in my house it was very tiring. The food tasted very hood and everything is every. We got both some nice presents. I can read some more books and do some quilting.

Life is busy!!

I will be happy when it is monday and we have had the christmas diner. Tomorrow my whole family is coming here to have diner. So I have done groceries, cleaned the house and in a while I will start preparing diner, so that I don't have to stand in the kitchen the hole day.
Now my DH would have loved to help me out a lot, but he had to work all days even today and he isn't home yet. I hope I didn't forget any groceries, but I don't think so.

Sjors is also sitting on the desk while typing this and wants some attention that I am willing to give as I feel so alone at the moment. Now I will have to start making the parfait otherwise it won;t be ready tomorrow and than yes we have a problem.

Here I am!

This is my first start for this blog and as a first I want to wish everyone happy holidays.
