I started the comfortquilt for Hiske all over again and it will be a road to ireland quilt.
I love how the fabrics work together. It is a real stashquilt as all the fabrics are from my stash, now only I have to think about the border, but I am sure I will come up with something. I don't have enough of these fabrics to use them also for the borders.
Now I am back downstairs to drink and stitch for awhile and maybe later today some more sewing.

I love the colours you have picked for this quilt. Please keep us posted on your progress. I made a Road to Ireland quilt once but the fabric I chose for the small squares did not have enough contrast and the "road" got lost on the quilt. I see that you have high contrast so your quilt should be stunning!

Those colors are beautiful, and the contrast for the 'road' is very good. Make sure to show us when it is done.

That's beautiful - I don't think I've seen the pattern before . . . or it had a different name, if I did. I love the way it looks so far.

Nice, I did a small "Road to Ireland" once upon a time ago... But I used a theme print for the border and pulled fabrics for the inside from it...
