Exchange received and birthday package

Today I first had to open the door for the mailamn which brought me my redwork exchange from Myrna. She made me a beautifull pinkeep and included some beautifull goodies, you can see now that I feel very spoiled.
Than an hour later I hear the mail fell on the doorstep and there was a nice birthday package from Danielle with Britty Kitty III and Hrvest blessing in it.This morning my mother called for my husband as it is his birthday today, but he was already gone to work, but she told me she finished the quilt for their bed and here it is. Isn't it beautifull. My dad did all the cutting and my mother did do the machinesewing and handquilting on it.

Judith, it's always such fun to visit your site. I've been enjoying watching your prezzies make it to other sites and theirs make it to yours. What fun, and how wonderfully you all spoil each other.

The quilt is gorgeous. Congratulations to them!

And I didn't get a chance to comment on your Halloween box. Wonderful work, as always. Halloween is my second favorite holiday and you've tempted me with this pattern.

You also inspired me to try a biscornu. I have the pattern and a gorgeous piece of apricot linen (with sparkles) that I won at a stitchery show. I've never been able to decide what to do with it because, yummy as the color is, it doesn't "go" with my house at all. But I think it would make a delightful pin cushion. I found a free butterfly pattern through a blog link and am taking the fabric to Utah with me next trip to buy threads. (I don't have a good LNS here, but Shepherd's Bush is right where I'll be over spring break and they have EVERYTHING, including good people to give good advice.) I'll be sure to post a pic when I finish it (someday).
