Well not much to report. I have been busy sewing on my mysteriequilt and that won't be counted till the top is finished. Will have to go and decide what to do for the backing, maybe a kind of ninepatch too.
Pics I will show later from what I have been doing this week.
Now I just have a question how do you count BOM's? As I am starting the designer mysterie BOM next month, I am just curious how everyone will be counting such things where you get the fabric once a month. Hope I get some answers.
Fabric in week 19: 0 meter
Fabric in 2009: 35.05 meter
Fabric out week 19: 0 meter
Fabric out 2009: 33.05 meter

I'm not counting the actual BOM blocks, but am counting the finishing kit (or border fabric) in my totals.
Hmmm, good question. For my BOM's I am hoping to possibly be able to figure out the end amount, maybe they have that figured out somewhere - probably not!! One on my BOM's has amounts that you need, but I have not counted it till I am done the blks - that one is easy.
Yup, a good question. I am not into figuring out the math, but I am sure there is a way to do it... I hope someone has a good answer for you.....
I read somewhere, can't remember where, to count each block as 1/4 yard. So that's what I've been doing, and I usually count it in and out in the same week as it doesn't take too much to get one block done!
that's a good question--I haven't a clue!
