Back again

Since last night I am back from my retreat and had a great time there. Lots of chatting with old and new friends and also got some great sewing tips as I was making some difficult blocks for my mysterie. I decided a name and it will be called "lentekriebels", don't know how to translate it to english, but something like "spring is coming" says the same. On the pics you see that I don't have that much to do anymore (sorry for the blurry pic) and I hope to have it finished soon. I did do the midlestar en the roundblocks at the weekend and got some great tips from two ladies as those blocks were really hard. Yesterday I started doing the round corners and as youcan see I finished two of the outer rounds. I hope to do some more today as I just want to have it finished.
I had my camera with me, but forgot to stick in a memory card so no pics were taken by me on the retreat :-(
Beds were fine only I didn;t sleep on mine a lot the first night as I stayed up till 2.30 am and was up around 7.30 am. The second evening I was so tired that I went to bed already 10.30 pm and I even didn;t notice the other 5 ladies coming in as I was in some sort of coma :-) I woke up the next dat very well rested.

I was one of the lucky ones to see Judith's difficult blocks in real during the more than fantastic quiltweekend. Oh boy, they are great! Looking forward to see the finished quilt asap! ;-)

Wow! That quilt looks fantastic! I love the colors, but it certainly does look difficult.

That does look like the coming of spring. Love the colour, and all the different blocks.

I'm amazed that you can actually lay everything out like this! Our floor is too dirty and we have way too many feet. LOL!

It's a beautiful project. Can't wait to see it all done up.

That is going to be a wonderful quilt! It's really a vibrant colour choice, and it says "spring" :o) Must be a lot of work, but I'd think well worth the effort.
