Well not really walking as I still need my crutches to walk, but it is going better and better. Yesterday they have removed all the iron in my leg and they had great problems with the local anaesthesia. They could anaesthetise my skin not well and so I first felt the cut in my skin and when she was finished I also felt every stitch she made in my skin and boy that was painfull. Also removing the plate was very painfull. But well I survived. I now can start walking again and I hope next week I can do the shopping again myself.
Well stitching and quilting, mmm I am busy stitching on Little red riding hood and this page is going very slow. I think I am now 2/3 on this page. Quilting I haven't done in a week or more, but is on my agenda this week/weekend. Hope to sandwich the hexagonquilt this week and start the quilting. I have bought fabrics last week at the fattquartershop and yesterday came in the first envelope. It were the charmpacks of winter from moda and two tinme1,5 yard of two of the fabrics. A jellyroll of winter is still on it's way and I also bought a christmas fabric jellyroll from moda, just can't remember how the line is called. Than this week I bought a few sewing patterns for cloths from Simplicity and Butternik.

Judith, I am so glad you are doing better.
Wat een afschuwelijk horror verhaal zeg, konden ze nou niet even bijverdoven? Hopelijk heb je alle ellende nu achter de rug.
Roodkapje wordt erg mooi, leuk om te zien hoe je vordert.
You've really been through the wars with this, Judith. Very glad to read that you're back on your feet. I hope the rest of your recovery will go quickly.
Nu alleen nog leren lopen en 't komt weer allemaal in orde. Hier worden pinnen en metaaltjes onder verdoving weggehaald. In Nederland blijkbaar niet: pijnlijk voor de patient!
So sorry to hear that they couldn't get you totally numb.
Yay for no metal in the leg! Thinking of you, stay well and happy stitching :)
