frustration

I had a lot of frustration today with working on the spring fling round robin first border (round 2). First I mniss calculated how big the blocks had to be. That is when I started to hate myself. Than I thought looks like it is going to be a bit to big, well I forgot to count the border two times, so well I had to change something and lucky me that was easy to do.
So here is the sneak peak. LOL not a lot to see there.

We all have times like that. I kept cutting some borders 6" wide instead of 6 1/2" until I realized I was using a 6" ruler.

Your quilt looks lovely. I too am hand quilting a UFO at the moment...going very slowly. It has become My own WHEN OH WHEN...will it be finished quilt. I stole that from Taniwa in Japan. It is taking forever. Can't wiat to see the round robin when you get your back. I do love those things.

I love the bag you made for my daughter. She came over to my house last night and showed it to me. It is perfect for her. You quilting ladies are so talented! A long, long time ago I worked in Frankfurt, Germany, with a Dutch girl named Janneke Schulders.

I had a problem with my second round ..... I was short a 1/4". Glad that the problem was caught before I added applique. If it was just for me, I could live with it; but when it goes to another person ...... time to tear the hair!
