Lizzie Kate exchange received

First I want to thank everyone for the lovely comments on my huge quilt finish. I really love reading all that comments, makes me so happy.

Now that Suzanne has received the LK exchange I finally can show it. I stitched Lizzie Kate's Trick or treat for her and finished it into a floss tag. First one ever and I have to say I love this finish very much.
The concert Thursday was great, but the night very short (only 5 hours) so yesterday was a very hard day on work, but I survived. Today will be a huge stitching day as I haven't stitched in two days and when you have a deadline to meet than it isn't good news.

Very cute Judith and I know you will meet your deadlines. You are Smokey Needles from the Netherlands :)

Shame on you. :-(. You have such wonderful work on your blog including your cross stitch by TW..and then you sent her something of that caliber.. I'm sure the participants on the list expect better stitching.. Look at the HOE blog for examples of work for future reference... PS: Why did you leave off your name?

Judith, Don't let the person who was brave to leave a comment like this but not brave enough to add their name to it belittle such a gorgeous finish. I love it and would be over the moon to receive such a fantastic piece of stitching and finishing like that and I am sure so would 99.9% of other stitchers. Shame on you Anonymous !!!!!!

What a cute design and finish! I would be thrilled to get something like that! Don't let the *anonymous* comment get you down. I don't do exchanges anymore because of several issues. Now I just send out handmade things to people who will appreciate them and there are NO obligations and time restraints!

I don't participate in exchanges simply because I have kind of "eclectic" tastes in that I can't necessarily say "I like X" because as soon as I see "Y" I might like it more! LOL

BUT, to the person who felt justified in leaving a snotty comment, I can think of a BUNCH of appropriate words...unfortunately, I don't want to get the blog shut down for profanity, so I will refrain.

Keep up the lovely work - and if an exchange calls for a Lizzie Kate, do a Lizzie Kate...obviously!

Dearest Judith.... I hope the annonymous poster sees my return comment here. As leader of HoE, I shall not now or ever put up with any member treating another in this way! This comment in your blog is utterly undeserved and the comment should feel ashamed of her own self for posting what she wrote - and of course, for hiding behind an annonymous posting. Any member known to attack another will be removed from HoE without further notice or ability to return to the group. I am so sorry your feelings have been hurt! Please know that this one person's unfair comments are no reflection of the group as a whole.

It's beautiful. I agree, don't let your feelers be hurt about this, I would have been proud to receive it!

Nice LK floss tag.

Judith, please don't let one person's bad attitude and snotty opinion determine whether you exchange or not. The person who should stop exchanging is the anonymous commenter, because apparently they aren't exchanging for the right reasons and they are snobbish. I love what you did, and you are exactly right that it was a Lizzie Kate exchange, and that floss tags are in. I think you did a great job, and that the person who was so cowardly as to post their snobby comment anonymously needs to get a life.

I think Edgar gets it (see http://blacksheepsite.blogspot.com/2009/01/very-disturbing-email.html), and I get it, and I'm exchanging so that I can share my love of stitching and meet new friends. And, if I sign up for a Lizzie Kate exchange, it's because I like Lizzie Kate!!! Sheesh. Sorry this is such a long comment, but I just can't believe that someone out there in the stitching world is so snobby.

Love your finish!! What a chicken the person that made a negative comment it. They are really stupid and obviously don't understand exchanges. If that was what the exchange called for that is what the exchange called for. Don't let an idiot get you down. Mary in IN

Hi Judith,

Your work always is lovely, no matter how big or small or simple or complicated the project. What those of us who follow your blog do know is this: you put your heart into each and every project and you are so wonderfully talented at stitching, sewing, quilting, creating whatever. So don't let this gutless anonymous idiot get you down. That person obviously has nothing productive to do with his/her time. :-)

Keep on creating! I love seeing your work.
