I am very proud

to say that I cleaned out my whole sewing/stashroom. I have made some pictures before. Here is one from the side of the window, this sight wasn't that bad.

This other side was really the most messy side. I just had to go and clean also because my parents come visit us this weekend and I already know the reaction of my mother when she would have see n it like this.

But here is the sight that wasn't that messy.

And here is the very messy side that is now clean too :-)

My DH said yesterday if I would turn it into a palace and I think I did a good job to make it a palace. It is the first time I have got my sewing/cutting desk totally clean.

This winter we will renovating it and it will look totally different, but for now I am satisfied. Now I can go and work on the "It's summertime mysterie". Also here a pic of almost all the fabric stash I have collected and what is not used in quilts I am working on at the moment.

Remember, "creative clutter is better than idle neatness". I hope your fabric does not come in contact with the sun. It can cause fading along the fold lines. I've seen it happen with my quilting sis's stash. I'm in Canada.

You really did a great job on cleaning up. Can you come to the US and clean my son's room? I can't see their floor!

Judith, it's wonderful you have a room just for sewing! I'll be watching for your remodel of the room later in the year!

I sew in my family room, but have dedicated half of it for me. :D I'm also going to be redoing the room this summer - can't wait till all the work is done!

WOW What a difference, now I must do the same thing to my spare room, as my Dad may just be coming up next weekend for a week or two to start helping me in the garden with all the heavy work. Mum is coming up the weekend after, when she takes my Grandad back to my Aunt's house.

Oh dear maybe I should start now ;o)
